Osho, Indian master, has created many active meditations, to enable modern man to let go of tensions and reach more easily to a meditative state. He thought the man was too stressed and became unable to relax. Traditional meditation techniques were aimed at people from another time, but not to those of the twentieth century. People today are no longer able to just sit and be silent - their mind does not allow it.

What is the mind? The mind is what hubbub in our head, these thoughts running in the loop, multiplex with extension to movies and series in multiple episodes, with endless options. The mind always seeks to maintain control. He created, throughout our lives, what we "think" being, our ego. Our convictions, our beliefs, our fears, our judgments, all things were created by the mind and as he is afraid of the unknown and the vacuum he created infinitely new stories. It is tiring and ultimately prevents us from thinking clearly. The mind is there to serve us and not vice versa.

In addition, the unexpressed feelings, tensions create blockages in our body and we prevent us relax naturally and maintain harmonious relations with others. The active Osho meditations allow to dissolve these blockages and lead us to our natural state of peace, calm and harmony, to see that we are more than our mind.

All active Osho meditations begin with a natural step, one way or another, we will move the body to help us get rid of tension and stress accumulated and start letting go of the mind: the chaotic breathing, a dance, tremor, songs ... having started meditating by the movement, it is much easier to sit and relax in the silence.
